Large Kupittaan Savi ceramic vase from the 50s

Hand painted by Tapio Kinnunen with a lovely soft green on cream.

Height approx. 36 cm

Width max. 19 cm

Signed at the bottom TK, for Tapio Kinnunen. Stamped: Made in Finland.

This is a vintage piece. Please note that the object might show visible signs of previous use, minor cosmetic wear, fading and patina. Overall the vase is in good condition. It has some minor signs of wear - the vase has a little chip at the bottom edge which you can see in the photos.

These green-and-white decorations are typical of Kupittaan Savi production from the 1930s–1950s. The motifs were often flowers, leaves, or abstract lines on a white or light background.
